Compatibility View Setting

This solution fixes these problems:

Program locks up before I've finished a lesson.

I get a warning that pops up every time a new slide loads that looks like this:

Explanation:

This problem occurs when using Internet Explorer 8 with the Compatibility View setting turned off. The fix is easy and involves turning "Compatibility View" on.

Solution:

  1. In the upper right of your browser window, there's a button called "Tools." Click on that.
  2. From the drop-down list, choose Compatibility View Settings.
  3. A window will open. At the bottom of this window, make sure that the Display all Websites in Compatibility View box is checked.
  4. Click the close button on the compatibility view window.
  5. It will probably give you the warning about leaving the page one more time, after that, the problem should be solved.
